Best pimple spot cream? Help!?

May 2nd, 2011 · 4 Comments · Dry Skin

I have tried many pimple creams and spot treatments that claim to work, but they either never do, or dry out my skin.
what pimple/acne spot cream an I use that will work quickly without drying up my skin?

**additional info:
I have oily skin
I tried Burt’s Bees and Clean & clean w/ benzoyl peroxide
I only have pimples on my t-zone and some on my checks.

In your case i would say the best thing to do would be to use your dogs/cats/fishes/friends/ fathers/iguanas semen to clear that bad ol’ acne up! and in that order too!

There are 3 things I can advise you, that helped me get rid of all my acne (I also have oily skin which can at the same time dry easily, and most of it was on my forehead , cheeks, and chin).
    1) Use a mild version of PanOxyl (Antibacterial Acne Aquagel) or Benzac5, which you can find at any pharmacy shelf. These 2 work very well.
    2) Make a mago face mask. Scoop out the pulp, and smear it on your face for 10-15 minutes. Mangoes are widely known to unclog pores and get rid of acne. (Eating them also helps, as they have many vitamins that help clear the skin).
    3) Lay off sugar and dairy. Both of these cause an upsurge in hormone imbalance, which triggers overproduction of sebum oil, which results in more acne. I would suggest you also avoid processed foods and alcohol.

Also, there is a chance that you may have some food allergies, as acne is sometimes the sign of this. Get an allergy test done just in case.

PS: I suggest you not wear too much makeup and apply natural moisturizers, since products you may be using now are probably making it worse. I would suggest you apply cold pressed avocado oil. It works wonders (on acne too) and absorbs fast, so you don’t even notice it. It’s even amazing as a hair conditioner.
